Indoor Wedding Photo Locations - Northeast Ohio
Cleveland:
The Arcade: The Arcade is currently free to take photos inside, but you must call or email the hotel ahead to confirm there are no private events happening. If there are, you may only take photos inside until 12:00pm.
The Cleveland Public Library: The Cleveland Public Library requires a reservation and a minimum donation of $50. All photography sessions must be completed by 5:45pm.
The Old Courthouse: The Old Courthouse charges a location fee of $125/hr with a minimum of one hour. You must make a reservation with the Courthouse and they will not allow sessions if the Courthouse is rented for an event.
Cleveland Botanical Gardens: The Botanical Gardens allow photography inside, but have a number of rules and restrictions. It's best to call to schedule time for photography.
Cleveland Museum of Art: There is no cost to take photos inside the atrium of the Cleveland Museum of Art provided there is not special event taking place.
Suite 226: Natural light photography studio. Available for $80 for one hour or $60/hr for multiple hours. Must make a reservation.
Severance Hall: Photography is allowed but a reservation is required and the rental rate is $275/hr.
Mahall's 20 Lanes: Mahall's is sometimes available for smaller groups and couples. Calling or inquiring with them on social media first is recommended.
West Side Market: The West Side Market is free to take photos in but offers limited flexibility for larger groups and is only operational within certain time frames.
Pins Mechanical: In the past, Pins Mechanical in Ohio City has allowed me in to take photos of couples and bridal parties if purchasing food or beverages from the bar. I would suggest inquiring on social media or calling ahead.
Sixth City Studios: Six City Studios is a rental photography studio with multiple set designs that change regularly. Rentals are $100/hr and require reservations.
Akron/Canton:
O'Neil House: The house is a classical old West Akron home and functions now as a B&B. It is available for photography and has a rental fee. Call the number listed on their website and speak to Gayle to arrange/schedule a time.
Jenk's 1929 Building: The Jenks building is a unique mixture of outdoorsy, industrial, art and eclectics. Located on Front Street in Cuyahoga Falls, it offers a variety of unique photo locations inside. Calling ahead or emailing to arrange a time is suggested.
Akron Museum of Art: Call to inquire about photography requirements and costs. Photography sessions inside or outside require a reservation and are subject to different prices.
Akron Photo Society: A natural light photography studio located in the old B.F. Goodrich building. It has multiple sets and is mix of industrial and vintage. It is $65/hr to rent and requires reservations.
The Civic Theater: In the past I have done private photo sessions inside the Civic Theater, but it has been privately arranged with the theater. Pricing is unknown to me, but reservations are a must.
The Massillon Woman's Club: Located in Canton, the Massillon Woman's Club is available for rent for photos for $100/hr. Reservations required.
